A neutral glitter palette for adhesive decals
Black, gold, silver, and white give this sampler a different role from the pastel version. The neutral palette can suit name decals, contrasting labels, or related decorative objects where each shade has a defined purpose. This is permanent adhesive craft vinyl, not heat-transfer glitter material. Identify the hard surface and its finish before choosing a color. Black on a dark object may disappear visually, while white and silver can have different contrast on a pale background. A paper mock-up at the intended design size helps decide the outline and spacing before committing the actual glitter sheet.
The four colors are four separate stock limits
Each twelve-inch-square sheet supplies one square foot of nominal area. The total is four square feet, but a matching gold-only project is limited by the gold sheet rather than the combined package. Plan the color assignments and the largest repeated name first. Use the cutter's supported usable width, loading method, and gaps in the layout rather than treating the whole square as edge-to-edge artwork. A backing grid can help you trim or organize stock, but it does not define the machine's cutting boundary. Save a meaningful spare rectangle in the important color if the job needs room for a replacement.
Check the adhesive and tape pairing
The retailer suggests several hard-surface projects, including decorative cups, signs, and covers. Those examples do not establish every painted surface, food-contact location, or cleaning routine as suitable. Follow the exact vinyl and receiving-object instructions. Glitter vinyl may need a particular transfer-tape pairing, so check that before preparing all the cut parts. A tape trial should demonstrate pickup and release on the intended surface, not only whether the first letter lifts from its backing. The project is an adhesive application; a heat press is not automatically required because the design resembles iron-on lettering used on a shirt.
Choose the pastel sampler for a different color plan
The pastel set offers light blue, light pink, light purple, and silver in the same nominal sheet format. It is an alternative when the intended objects need a softer color direction, rather than an extra supply of the neutral shades in this pack. For the Basic sampler, label useful offcuts by color and adhesive type so they cannot be confused with glitter HTV scraps. The source makes weather-resistance claims, but our store has not tested outdoor lifetime or established dishwasher suitability. Retain the current application and care guidance with the approved finished sample, especially if several matching objects or later replacements are planned.
